Your experience with CFE223?

I picked up a can last night, just to get home and find none of my reloading manuals have load data for it. Oh well.

If you've used it, what have your experiences been?

I like it very much.  It's all I use for loading for AR rounds.

I sure thought it was in my manuals- at least one. Pretty sure its in the Hornady manual.  If not, you can go to the Hodgdon website.

CFE223 is in the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading 9th edition. Listed for 50-60gr Hornady boolits, and then 68-80gr in Service Rifle Data.  Also listed in the 5.56MM Nato info as well.

I've used it in one bolt gun and that one gun did not seem to like it all that well.

My savage LWH .308 LOVES it!

Hard to find .308 data, but if you want mine, I'll happily pm it to you. I'm getting very close to '06 velocity with 165s

More likely 300 Savage. I don't think I still have a 308.

I know this was last year.
But my Marlin 308MX loves it.
A near max load and a 170 speaking @ 100 yes.
You do your part, inside a dollar all day long.
