You don't see much about this gun, but I bought the tactical one for the threaded barrel and taller sights. This has become one of my favorite guns for sure. Buy it you won't regret it.

I think once I get a job after graduation, and settle down somewhere, a .300BLK upper build is in my future.  If I'm lucky, suppressors may be off the list or at least much cheaper/easier to process than they are now.  If the entire SBR thing is nixed, I'd even build a dedicated lower for it instead of having it for my already approved SBR.

No panic buying for me, just getting in on the savings.  Got me a 10.5" WLV barrel coming in, and since I don't want to pay "taxes" it will be a pistol for now, so hopefully they nix silencers and SBRs off the NFA list soon.

Same here no panic buying...but in support of Freedom yesterday I bought a 458 SOCOM 10" Upper.  Wanted one for awhile as I have a 16" but when suppressed is REALLY long...so dropping 6" should make for a blast of a beast!

Hope you have some of those 500 grain pills!

The Shilen is a hand lapped heavy profile match barrel. Mine is REAL accurate. If you are going to shoot long range, accuracy is first. If you're building a hunting gun for shorter ranges, get the light barrel.

AFIK, Alexander doesn't make their own.

I know Wade Hull who owns Shilen. Super nice guy and they do great work. Most of the records in Rimfire BR have been made with Shilen Ratchet barrels. If you would have any issues, I know they will take care of you.

LOL....

I've got a feeling you have at least a pallet or two.

I wonder if this means Walmart will start selling "evil black rifles" & hunting ammo again? Our local WM doesn't sell anything, but .22 rifles now. They still sell shotgun & pistol ammunition, but not .223, .308, 30-30, or 30-06. I'd also like to get my hands on a Beretta CX4 Storm or ARX 160 someday.

They are starting to show back up on the shelves at various Academy's again.
