Only $150ish for the lower with your own parts kit, $82 for the parts kit if you don't have or damaged yours.  Good to know they have this in case your lower is damaged somehow.  I sent in my G23 for a recall and got a whole new lower, different serial number, so I'm good.  But there have been some that have needed a replacement after attempting to either modify (remove/add finger grooves, or stippling) or just had a mishap with their lower.  I wonder how it would compare in pricing with an oem replacement.

I'm building one. I wouldn't build one to make it a run of the mill stock Glock, mine will get mostly all aftermarket parts. I look at it as platform and not brand. I can get $400 1911's, but they don't compare to my $2k ones. The same applies here, just I'm building it instead of dropping $2k on an agency, salient or ZEV. I'm literally waiting for all the rest of the parts in the next few days.

Here's a pre-build mock up:

ETA: Midway has the black frame for $99 right now. It comes with the jig and needed bits for completion. Also can be completed with a file, sandpaper and a hand drill.

I'm glad I got to feel that 80% lower before I bought one.  The shape didn't feel right in my hand and it seemed slick.

JCT1911, when do you think you'll have yours done?

1-2wks. Flat trigger from overwatch precision shipped today. The grip is large-ish, I'll be doing reduction and texturing after finishing the build and function testing. I'll be removing the molded features on the grip down smooth and going from there. Also have to knock down a couple sharp spots on the frame where it rubs my hand.

I'd love to see it when you are finished

I might do a quick write up with pics when finished. Might include benched load work up for accuracy.
