So a small piece of this earth which you temporarily are the caretaker of is worth harming, maiming or killing someone over because they walked on it?  I am not condoning the trespasser, but there are legal means to address it.  Let's say you confront this individual and the crazy SOB shoots you, was it worth it?

A nice flour bomb would have been funny too, followed by something with a strong smell that deer hate, whatever that might be.

Even water can be thrown with enough force to damage the eyes. It doesn't matter what's in the trap, IMHO. Just say'n. :shrug:
