No photo, but I did a roast in the dutch oven yesterday. Roast, peppers (whatever I had), carrots and celery. Tonight I’ll take the roast and carrots out, then do some ground beef and more peppers to go in the “leftovers” from the roast in the dutch oven and make chili.

Chili came out ok, could be better but it’ll do.

Chili is always better the 2nd day. Takes a long time for the flavors to mingle. Sure looks tasty.

And mellow a bit the way I make it.

I did about 20lbs of pork BBQ on the smoker last weekend and we've been slowing eating on it over the week.  I'll vacuum seal about half of it tonight or tomorrow and freeze it.  I'm pretty BBQ'd out right now.

That also means it's time to do a full packer brisket soon.  :)

Was at GFS today. 4 butts, 4 racks of ribs, 6 whole chickens. Little bit of prep later this week and smoking will begin Friday night. I love smoked chicken.

'Tis a true cycle.  The nice thing about it, though, is that meat is good for you to eat!  It's the carbs that most people pack around the meat and on the plate that get you in trouble.

So, really, I'm smoking food for my own health.  :D

Smoking meat has a wide variety of benefits for both one's physical and mental health.

Last night. Roasted asparagus, steamed veggies, bacon wrapped jalapeños, steaks and miniature cheesecake.

And yeah. Welcome to Wyoming. [emoji1]

I thought I was a "decent" cook on the grill and such, but you guys put me to shame.  Gonna cook some chicken thighs on the grill, probably just season them with Lowrys seasoned salt, and whatever bottle of spice (I have an addiction to spices for the grill) I find that sounds good.  Some cottage cheese and pineapple on the side.  I'm a simple guy.  :bored:

I was an absolute mess before I decided to take ownership of my culinary skills.  Research and practice make perfect.  It took time, but I'm very much an example of being able to cook your way to a high standard.

I learned to cook in order to pick up women. It obviously worked. I've been married 40 years and I'm still cooking.

Some of you guys need to go back and edit your posts so you aren’t giving that lame azz PB free advertising.

The food looks good though….That is all…carry on.

If you cook to get her, you gotta keep cooking to keep her.

Flat iron steak cooked over hickory, maple, and oak, with homemade Chimchurri.

Oh. Em. Gee.

Damn, that looks good.  Did you season the meat with anything before it hit the grill?
