I've been working with Outlaw State on Super heavy subs. He has the 280s cycling in a 1 in 7 ar 10 without any changes to the gun. I'm running a 1 in 5 bolt gun so we can push the limits.

Nice group, I would hate to get thwacked by one of those!

Ive run some 170grn Sako subs in the past and they were horrible, we were not comfortable using them past 75m at light bulb sized targets. We got ahold of some 200grn Lapua and they were significantly better, usually acceptable to 150m with a 5-6mph full value. I think you guys are on to something with the super heavys. What kind of energy do you think you are getting off that at 100yrds?

I was really close to building a 338 spectre. Now I'm really glad I didn't. I have adjustable gas valves on all 3 AR-10 variants. I would love to play with this, especially in my 308 "pistol"

And lookie... Columbia is just a few minutes south of me...
