I ordered a SWAT-T Tourniquet...actually 2 of them. One for myself and one for work.

Since I carry a gun, I accept the fact that violence could happen. If God forbid violence does happen, it's good to have the means to treat the aftermath.

The CAT or SOFTT-W are my 1st line preference. But the SWAT-T fills a niche that needed filling.

Options are a good thing...

Picked up this Smith and Wesson model 28-2 4" circa 1966 (but I'm telling myself it's '67 because that's what I need) last week.

Very Nice! I'm envious! :pleased:

Congrats on the acquisition.

Did you pick it up locally?

Thanks.  I got it at SIA.  They actually have another 28-2 4".  A 70's made pistol with unoriginal to the gun target grips (but still S&W) and red-insert front sight but still a nice specimen if one did not care about 100% originality.

I've not been to SIA yet. But I obviously need to quit procrastinating about it.

I have a place in my hear for S&W revolvers, more so as shooters than a collection piece. So 100 % originality isn't an issue.

I certainly do admire the bluing they did back then.

I have been changing my collecting focus lately. I have been buying more Colts. This is one I have been wanting for a while. I finally found one for a decent price. They were a special run done only one year with a total of 1500 made.

Team Realtree Colt Anaconda 44 mag with a Redfield scope.

I have one like it, and it is quite possibly my favorite S&W shooter.

Just a small purchase:   For a while now I have been running a Wilson Combat Vicker's Elite rear sight on my Glock 19's with an Ameriglo Pro iDot front sight.  I ordered and received the Vicker's front fiber optic sight and am going to try that with their rear sight and see if the combination is any more or less accurate for me than the Ameriglo front sight on one of the 19's.

More to come.

Picked up a couple of Federal 550 bulk packs of .22 from Walmart last week.  Anybody remember those?  I have not seen them on shelves in literally 5 years, even before The Great Famine.

I do. I still have a few of those stashed away in the safe. I still don't ever see .22lr on the shelf at Wal-Mart. I stop by the one in Turkey Creek about once a month and it's fully stocked with everything BUT .22lr.

When was the last time anyone saw a 1000 round box of Winchester M22 on a local shelf? I would like to get a couple more of them.

I scored a couple of those two, maybe three years ago at WM.
