We offer a safe and fun atmosphere. New shooters always welcome and we offer instruction and coaching during the match. You will need a pistol, a holster, a mag carrier and 2 or 3 magazines. Pistol Caliber Carbine may also be used. Come out and bring your friends.

See you there!

Unfamiliar with the green alien emoji.

:woohoo:   = Woo-Hoo!  interjection \ˈwü-ˈhü, ˌwü-\   Used to express exuberant delight or approval.

In other words, this is my favorite MCTS match and this year I'll be able to attend.

Finally get to use my "Fricken' Laser Beam" again. I'll need to retrieve it from my shark.

Are you bringing mini me?

So I'm loading up my Mags and getting my Gear ready for tonight and it occurred to me that I have no idea what "Defensive Carbine & Action Pistol" actually means.

Can anybody tell me what the rules are?  Do we download the mags or can we load to design capacity?  Can we run our 3Gun gear or are we limited to a "concealment" belt and holster?

Or....., can we just shoot Not For Competition with whatever we bring?

Less restrictive but more fun than IDPA.  Every type of gun fits into a scoreable division.

If you can conceai it, it is good for this sport.  Pistol Caliber Carbine division no concealment needed.

We have steel targets and prefer you not leaving the match a lot less financially empty.  There is no carbine (rifle caliber) in Defensive Carbine & Action Pistol Society yet.

Missed you tonight

I was on I-40 West when I got CatsEye's post above at 4:25 PM that it was pistol caliber only for carbines.  Turned around and went back home since I was going to shoot one of my AK based SBRs.

Too Bad - - - The Fireball coming out of that short AK barrel and SLR single port muzzle brake would have been Epic.........
