I have it piled pretty deep (for me) too. I don't shoot a lot of 22

I felt it was a pretty good deal at todays prices. Then I went online and saw BulkAmmo had the same thing for $59 and felt even better. We can always sell it during the next panic attack and triple our money I guess....LOL!

Why do people stock pile .22? I stock pile 5.56 and 7.62X39

Ever shot a rabbit with a 223? You gonna lick it off a tree when you're done? :)  I stockpile 5.56, but do try to keep some 22 around, mainly cause I have 5 guns chambered in it.

Still got a bucket O bullets that I got in a gun trade back during the initial panic.  I say buy anything you can afford to buy and have it when the next one hits.

'causeI can't shoot that in my 22 rifles...LOL.   Also, 22LR is still harder to find than anything else and mostly because I shoot my CZ 22 rifles much more than I do anything else.

Academy has had a crap load of .22 in stock for 6 months at least ( that's as long as I've been there)

At 7 bucks a pop you have. You kind of acted that way in your comment about people that stockpile 22.

I think people should stockpile what they shoot the most of and that's an individual thang ya know.

So my 30k rounds of 22 is too much? :usa:  To each his own.  I don't get blasting a 30 round mag of 223 with no apparent goal, but plenty of people do that.  I could give a crap. Get what you like.
