Spotted a moose

I was in western Nebraska yesterday, just a little south of Scottsbluff. I didn't realize there were moose in the area, from a distance I thought it was a loose horse.

have some friends in Massacheusets that have them in the area as well. 

It'd be nice if moose and bison were roaming the woods and on the list of game available to hunt!

Yes they have moose, mostly northwest part.  Another thing they have that most people are not aware of are pelicans.

Little bit of thread drift, but every time a moose story comes up, I think of this one a saw a few years ago.

But then you realized it wasn't a loose horse.  It was a loose moose.  (Somebody had to take advantage of that rhyme!)

Great pictures.  Be careful.  I hear that hitting those things can really mess up a car (and the driver/passengers for that matter.)

I sure am glad you are having one of those flashbacks they promised everybody. Most folks don't ever get theirs.

I wish. I really feel robbed on that point. "Don't do acid!" they said. "You'll have flashbacks!" they said. But have I ever gotten a flashback? Nooooooooo. I think they were just full of it. I don't know anybody who has ever experienced a flashback like they used to say would happen in all those Nancy Reagan just say no classes. Lyin' jerks.
