side slip magnifier for tavor

Haven't messed with the red dot/magnifier combo before and thought I would put one on the tavor.  Have the red dot already picked out, holosun hs503c (really pleased with it on the mp5) and was thinking I could pop a magnifier on the back end of it.  Does anyone have recommendations for the magnifier?  It has to be able to flip to the side, and not looking for anything fancy.  Shots out to 100-200 meters is what I will be going for, anything beyond that and I'll use something other than a varmint caliber.

This offering from Primary Arms is probably in line with what you need for 100-200 without breaking the bank.

You'll need a flip arm mount sold separately.

The biggest pain will be making sure whatever mount you get lines up the magnifier with your red dot correctly.  You'll need to take some measurements to be sure.  Also, that magnifier is going to make the red dot look a lot bigger.  My EoTech came with a magnifier on a promotion, and I sold it because I didn't like how the EoTech reticle looked with it.  A simple red dot shouldn't be as bad, just something to think about.

I'm pretty sure I recall Willis had a magnifier paired with an Eotech on his Tavor when we sighted it in. Just make sure you get a mount that stays whee you want it. You don't want one that can accidentally fall into the line of sight. As I recall, the only problem may be fitting backup irons into the picture.

Haven't heard anything bad about the PA magnifiers.

Thanks guys, I meant to say "flip" not "slip".  I don't much care about the iron sights being useful, so that's not much of a deal.  I think 3x will work pretty good - it's a 2 moa dot and this isn't a precision rifle... this was free-handing a zero at 57 yards with no magnification on the red dot at the range.  First time I ever shot a bullpup (was all over on that first shot group) fairly impressed, but definitely need magnification of some sort to get it zeroed out at 100 and need to fire it supported to see how accurate the gun itself is without me waving around madly :D

I have a rule. DON'T EVER turn the screws on an optic unless the gun is sitting in a solid rest. I simply add too much error trying to hold the gun. One click on an optic is tiny compared to how far I can jerk it off target. :-)  Add that HEAVY Tavor trigger to the mix, and it's even worse. I was able to get one sighted in on a good rest, but it was challenging.

I like to gamble!

Actually just wanted to shoot the thing, plus it needs to be zeroed at 100, not 50~ ;)

Oy vey...you just opened the can of worms marked "best distance to zero a 5.56 long gun."

That depends on how you are gonna use the gun. Can't beat battle field zero if you're hunting goat humpers. If you are going to limit your range to 100-150 yards (critters in the woods), a battle field zero will shoot high at 100. No need to sacrifice that accuracy if you don't need the 300 meter range.
