Looks like we will have a couple of TWRA representatives speaking. I'm told they'll be talking about the successful reintroduction of Elk to East Tennessee. Should be interesting.

Also, you do not need to be a member to attend. Just cmon by, the meetings are a lot of fun.

Just got confirmation that our speaker tonight will be Julie Schuster the Executive Director for TWRA. She'll be talking about the elk but will also take questions from the audience.

I invite all of you to join us.

I think Ed Carter Is the TWRA Executive Director.  I've meet Julie a couple of times and as far as I know she is currently an Ex- Officio of the Tenseness Wildlife Resource Foundation.  Some of these people get a little scrappy when you associate them with the wrong Alphabet soup organization  TWRA - Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, TWRF - Tennessee Wildlife Resource Foundation and the TWF -Tennessee Wildlife Federation.

She is the Executive Director of the TWRF.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation, Inc. (TWRF) was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1999 to support the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) and to promote habitat conservation, responsible land stewardship, and the preservation of Tennessee's hunting and fishing heritage. TWRF assists TWRA with youth education programs as well as strategic land acquisitions to provide opportunities for habitat conservation/restoration and public hunting. Through our fundraising efforts and support, we provide a synergy to help the TWRA realize its goals.
