I'm looking at trying to pick one of the two up Monday I hope. Either a new 1911 which model not 100% sure on yet or a Remmington 700. I think I would like to get into some distance shooting with that. So which way to go. I can carry the 45. I do have a colt defender but definitly not a full frame. So what would you do?

Thats what I'm leaning towards due to the finding a place to shoot.I don't get to shoot my ar enough. Would be nice like some on the board to be able to just buy them both:D

Haven't really decided yet. I have a pistol I'm getting rid of depends on how much I get for it. Plus how much cash I have to boot. Hoping for anywhere from 500$-800$.

Thats where I'll be buying it. I'm only 15min from their shop. If I get the 700 I can't afford the glass just yet. Just the rifle and bi-pod.
