Been wanting to see this movie but want to know if its worth ticket price or should I just wait for the DVD.

Several people have chimed in over on M4C... both Cruise fans and haters... and all say the movie was really good. I'm a military history buff of sorts, and I'm definitely going to watch it... whether in the theater or here at home.

I saw it today at Carmike and I loved it Cruise is kinda hard to believe, but I felt all the other characters are very believable. I would pay to go see it again.

I haven't, but it's going to be a "must see" for me. I'm always intrigued by anything to do with Hitler.

I've seen a few trailers, and I still can't come to terms with Tom Cruise playin the part, but I'll do my best to overlook that aspect of this film.

History Channel is (right now) showing a special on Operation Valkyrie. So far, it has been pretty interesting.

I have read some mixed opinions on the history part of it. The movie (I am told) makes it out as Cruise and Co are heroes out to take down the Adolf because he is so evil. From my understanding that is not exactly true, they only wanted him to surrender to the US/UK so they would be spared of the Russians and it had nothing to do with them having any sort of policy disagreement. I need to do some research here as I am totally ignorant on this one.

Watched the thing on the History Channel yesterday. Pretty good. These guys are pretty much heroes in Germany today and seems like all sorts of ceremonies take place on the anniversary of the assassination attempt. If anyone other than Tom 'Nutjob' Cruise was starring in it, I'd head right out to see it, but I may just wait to video.
