So far everything seems about the same. On the old server I got e-mail from subscribed threads, but not post in a social group thread. Not sure about the new server as it appears no post have been made in any of the ones I'm in lately.

Haven't noticed the errors that Fallguy noted... but there is a broken link on the front portal.

Clicking "Homepage" on the portal, under Site Navigation, results in a 404 error when trying to reach the cmps_index.php page.

Thanks... just fixed those two, but it would be better if we would start a new thread devoted to bugs and such rather than muck up this thread with that sort of thing.

Comcast is blocking emails from sites like this. Get a gmail account. If you want one I can send you an "invitation". Gmail is not the spam box it used to be.

Do not use Comcast email. Period. I have had them block legitimate, very important emails as part of their horrible, overbearing effort to block spam. Our emails will almost never make it through their filters.

Thanks for that info. I didn't know that. I don't have a problem with emails from any of the other gun related forums.

I just tried to send myself an email through TGO, but it didn't go through. Guess I'll have to edit my email on TGO.

I don't think Gmail requires an invite anymore. I think they did away with that a while back.

For a while, either invite or sign up using mobile phone info. Never did understand that one.

But now, just sign up.

Also, for those who may not know, you can POP your gmail with most any email client, if like me, you use dedicated email proggie (like Pegasus, in my case).

That was the main reason I switched to Gmail after using Hotmail for years. I could use an independent program to check my mail instead of having to login to the website each time.

Pm me your current email addy. And yes what they say is true, "invitation" is not required. All you really got to do is go to Gmail.com and sign up, but then what am I gonna do with these 50 invites I have.

That wasn't the problem. I did start getting them again today. I'll just chalk it up to move issues.
