I'm opening up to the post-modern evolution of AK options we're starting to see.  Some are still ugly as can be, but the understated ones are looking good to me.  If I was limited to one, I think I'd still want it to be "pure" with a fixed or underfolding stock, but I could see myself having one of each if conditions permitted it.

See, I don't need mine to be fancy. A folding stock is a plus, but side rail is a must for a red dot.

All of them are beauties!!! I have both platforms (AR and AK) and love them both. But the nice thing about an AK ( I have a Saiga) is it loves cheap ammo. My AR doesn't like steel case. The Saiga LOVES it! Doesn't matter about the brand. It just runs like a Singer sewing machine.

I have all Magpul furniture on my AKM. It is fine. I have all Magpul furniture on a few of my ARs too. And the magazines for my Glock, and the case for my phone...
