Because why wouldn't you?

The watch MrsMonkey showed is nice...even if that strap is fugly.  Not sure I'd ever buy it, but I can appreciate it from an aesthetic and mechanical standpoint.

Speaking of aesthetics and mechanics in a watch, this is what I wear in rotation with its little brother (another Omega from the 90s), and a somewhat "tactical" watch that I need to get serviced.

I haven't worn a watch since 1998. But that is impressive and might tempt me to try again.

I wear a watch all the time but more for the day and date than the time. Comes in handy for keeping appointments than any thing else. Last one I bought cost $14.00 at Walgreens 12 years ago.

Obnoxious smart phone is my timepiece, use appointment function on it...sometimes. The calendar beside my desk is my normal appointment book, if I don't forget to look at it.

But all my appointments these days are docs. Usually set weeks ahead. Giving me to time forget them.

I use my phone as a watch these days when I'm not at my desk using the PC.

Sadly as a working stiff with a seldom varied schedule, I can about tell you the time of day down to the quarter hour based entirely on what chore I happen to be in the midst of

I'm in the "My phone is my watch" group. I'm not a bling-ie person and don't even wear a wedding ring - and I don't need a ring to remind me that I'm happily married. :)
