Identify This Pin

Just came across this pin in the bottom of a box of ammo I bought from another member here.

I have no idea what it goes to but I do have a theory that requires digging around in the safe which ain't gonna happen right now.  

It is solid, steel, and appears to be blued.  Dimensions in inches are provided.  The ends are slightly rounded.

It's the right shape, but too big, I think

Looks similar to a pin I've seen on a Winchester 94

Possibly an AR trigger slave pin?  Some replacement triggers come with one to hold the disconnector in place.

Seems right length, don't have decent micrometer to measure diameter. But wouldn't seem one would be blued.

I think it is an M1 Carbine front sight pin.  That notion is stuck in my head but I have yet to prove it.

Perfect fit in length and diameter:

What a random thing to come across.  

Why I actually have a replacement M1 Carbine front sight (without a pin) is another story.

It looks just like the take down pin for my Ruger LC9. Maybe contact the member you bought the box of ammo from and see if they ever lost one?

I just put my Winchester 190 back together and it had a pin like that. It anchors the magazine tube to the barrel. I have not measured, though. It is rounded at both ends and blued.
