I just finished putting on the new stock, barrel shroud and side mount for attachments. Any suggestions on a scope would be cool, I am interested in getting a red-dot scope.

As far as scopes go, I don't have any firsthand experience, but I keep hearing a lot about Millett. For the money, they are probably worth looking at.

Get a scope made for the AK I have a 40mm ncstar on mine and it quit working, POS .

Try a set of the X/S Big Dots first, then decide if you need a red dot.

The one thing I dislike about side mount rails is that they usually block the iron sights. So if your electronic optic craps out, you're kinda SOL until you can get that mount off.

Its to lull any would be intruders into a false sense of security. They break in, see the spread and think "Hey, this guys a nancy, we're good to go!" and then wa-bam! We pop outta the closet with an AK tricked out in accessories that cost more than the rifle and smoke their ass.
