Not that I'm putting on my but it doesn't surprise me.  I don't know if this affects google searches.  It looks like you need a browser with WOT installed so it can give the rating.  Think I'll put it on and go to all those "suspicious" sites and give positive ratings.  Then I'll go to the leftist sites and trash them even though the author says "lets not sink to their level."  Sorry, two wrongs make a right.

I am a member of the Web of Trust although my browsing pattern is pretty limited although all the sites I go to now are green.

So far, everything I see, from extremes like Prison Planet vs. Daily Kos, or NRA vs MAIG are rated excellent, so don't know the actual value of this thing.

Web of Trust? Now that's funny.

Funny story that is kind of related. We had a couple of members that would constantly argue with each other. It seemed like they would highjack almost every post with their drivel. Well the arguing got so serious that one decided to take matters into his own hands. Now before this we not only had a "Like" button but we also had a "Dislike" button. Well that one member searched for posts by his internet foe and clicked "dislike" on every post. And seemingly overnight a member with thousands of positive reputation points was in the negative. And that is when the "Dislike" button was removed from TGO.

BTW, as far as I know the one who decided to do that was deep into adulthood.
