Southern Grind meets Badass Blades

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Several months ago I began forming a relationship to become a dealer for Southetn Grind knives, http://southerngrind.com/ I talked them into sending me a knife to sample to see if they were up to my standards. I recently found out that all the profits from Zac Browns knife company go to a wonderful camp for disabled children called Camp Southern Ground

This my friends is what I call a first class company, their knives are all built in Georgia and I can now tell you after carrying my Bad Monkey for the last day, they are definitely up to my standards.

My knife came to me sharp, extremely sharp but since I have my system I could not resist to make it better

JMO, but a yes on the blade. A no on the handle/scales for me.

You and I are polar opposite on this one, I love the scales but prefer the Modified Tanto blade on this one, but have no fear when I do a Badass Blades version of this one, I'm going to try to do it on scales of a color that Southern Grind does not use already and also give customers their choice of available handle scales

I think you would like their Carbon Fiber scales on this knife, they look awesome in my opinion , this one pictured with the Emerson Wave

Their modified tanto blade looks excellent.

Their sales manager was supposed to send me this one in the Tanto blade, I absolutely love that design it is what first turned me onto this company

I can't complain as I got this knife free and this one is still awesome

I had the pleasure of speaking with the reps from Southern Grind at the NRA convention earlier this year. I was very impressed with the quality of the product, but more so by the company and the rationale for it. I've always been a Zac Brown fan, but this was just icing on the cake for me.

Willis, how do I get this exact knife? When the time comes I want this with a WE for myself. I know I told you I'm not a knife girl, but I'm in love with this.
