If it works most of the time, it should work all the time. If there is a problem, go to 1.150" and try it.

Load a couple of inert dummy rounds at 1.160" and play with your gun(s),incrementally reducing the COL, until YOU find the COL that works 100% in your gun(s).

All guns have chambers that vary slightly. COL is NOT based just on the bullet, but the magazine, the feed ramp, and the chamber. Thus, there is no single "optimum" COL that works in all guns even for one specific bullet.

Most of the time I load X-Treme 135gr round nose flat points to 1.135". I know this is a different bullet but it works in my mags and feeds fine.

Find a length that does the same for your setup.

I'm also loading at 1.135. I could load a little longer but my case gage doesn't agree and it just seems to fit better in the chamber of my gun as well.
