It could have been worse. Just be glad you didn't mix it up with your Preparation H...

Yeah, don't ever keep the Prep H and your toothpaste in the same drawer!

I know the feeling. I once tried to apply gold bond medicated powder to my inner thighs while lying down. I'm sure I was doing a similar dance.

Several years ago we went to Nicaragua on a mission trip. Everyone there kept driving home the fact that the water was really bad and do not drink it - EVER. One morning the bus came early and I had not finished my morning routine. I thought to myself, to save time I'll brush my teeth using tap water, but I'll take extra care not to swallow any. So I proceeded to brush my teeth, and was astounded at how really bad that water tasted. Furthermore, the water was so bad that it left the toothpaste flat and didn't foam up. It wasn't until I put my stuff away that I realized I had grabbed the Prep-H instead of the toothpaste.

Alright, somebody let me in on it.  I've never used Icy Hot or Preperation H. What happens when you add water?

For the OP I'm assuming that the shower water washed the Icy Hot all over the place, giving him that magical tingling feeling in places he didn't want it.

And Preperation H shrinks things. It might shrink your tongue if you mistake it for toothpaste, but you'll not experience any itching or burning.

On the other hand, if you used Icy Hot on your rear instead of prep. H it would definitely be a memorable experience. It gives a new meaning to the song, "Ring of Fire"!
