HCP/CCW badge sighting

I was coming out of an auto parts store on the way home today. There was a dude messing with something under the hood of a car. I noticed he was open carrying some kind of semi auto handgun. It was impossible to miss the "badge".

I could not resist. I lowered the passenger window of my truck and pointed towards his gun and asked if he was a cop. ( he really did not have that cop appearance about him) He said no. But not to worry as he had a permit from the state and the badge was his HCP badge (or something to that effect) I was chuckling so hard by that point it was all I could do to drive away safely.

The look on his face as I was giggling was priceless.

at the range where I am an rso we have a "regular" that always wears the HCP badge that looks like a marshalls badge. I have to chuckle every time I see it.

I have to say that Mike has no problem whatsoever laughing in an HCP badge carriers face. And will usually go to no end to achieve pictures. I'm ashamed he didn't get any of the ARF (Autozone Reaction Force).
