I think a safe like this would work well,

I wonder if you could screw it down behind the seat

I was wondering the same thing. I would think you could do it if you can get enough access to drill the holes for bolts.

That has GOT to be Center of Mass, sold under Cabela's. Made exactly the same, exact same dimensions.

COM has holes in bottom, under the foam, to mount.

That 29.99 is same as on COM's site for medium ("standard" on Cabela's), but if large is also 29.99 on Cabela's as it indicates, then that's a better deal than COM's price for large.

I have mine bolted to the floor and cable tied (x2). I also drilled all the way through the floor and installed 3" bolts with lock washers. I then placed two large scrape pieces of metal on the inside just incase they try to pry it up. I do allot of gun swooping through out the day, so I never know who is watching.

I bought 4 of them once. Thought I got a good deal but they are not that good. Cable is cheap made, and the one for a "medium" sized gun will not hold a medium sized gun. If you got a pocket gun get the medium, if you have a medium sized gun get the large. If you have a large, you are SOL.

Bolt it down, I can get it open in 30 seconds or less

Use the cable, I can get it in 10 seconds.

Now, if you bolt it down "under" something (out of sight) then it probally will be ok.

Something else, they are not "quick access" I have placed my key in the hole and turned it only to find out my gun shifted and was stopping the lock from turning, if it had been bolted down I'd be screwed or screwed out of a lock box.:tough:

It is the same, and manufactured by Center-of-Mass. I tried to purchase from C-O-M, they only take Paypal, and I hate those guys. I bought from Duhastorage.com. Paid a little more. Cabalea's is a good price. There are 2 holes in the bottom for bolt mount. I plan to use for "flight carry" too(checked in baggage) so will not bolt down. Medium is too small for g19, mag out(required for flight) and box of ammo. Got large size. Very happy with purchase.

If the gun shifting stopped you from being able to unlock it then I guess its a cam lock? For a few more bucks I think a man could get a better lock set.Or if the gun shifted that tells me your drivin it like you stole it.Put it back in your pocket while your driven that hot rod Loncoln!!
