My son did a great thing and I am a proud Daddy !

My 18 year old son Ashton saved his friend's life by performing CPR on him and bringing him back to life after he was drowned and under water for several minutes . I love my son and I am just being a proud Daddy . Here he is getting a Life Saver award from the County Mayor .

his friend was in ICU for a few days and the ER got several units of water out of his lungs . But he is all good ! It happened on June 24 this year

One of my favorite things as a kid was reading Boy's Life magazine and seeing the Heroism Medals awarded to scouts who had saved lives.

He definitely qualifies.
