Geeze.... Nice addition you have there..... I always thought the 10mm got a bad rep because it was initially loaded too hot and it never gained the popularity it deserved. I'm guessing you didn't listen to all that talk! :blah:

"Too hot" for the FBIs new (at the time) female agents, maybe... I like it just fine.[emoji1]

I'm still hoping that Springfield puts out an XDm10.

Even with the most NUCLEAR loads its quite manageable, try a 460 Smith magnum in a 5" revolver....ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!

That's funny.... I think I'll like it around here....

I'll admit I may agree with the too hot mentality (at first) not because of the controllability, but because it did over penetrate.  And when shooting BGs, I think we all want our round to go in, get wet, get really big, and then stay in the goop.... 10's weren't doing that at first.  But look at all the technological advances, in all calibers, since then...

I'll play :-)  I don't have quite the discretionary fund excess as some of you more seasoned folks, but here is my li'l 10Mil popper

Tangfolio/EAA Witness Elite Match.  I do love that thing!

Eventually a Glock Model 40 will become a stablemate, I believe.

I'd really love to shoot a witness. I've heard great things.

I'll be at the OK Corral tomorrow morning and will throw it in the bag.  The great things you have heard are probably all correct. ;-)  Excellent build quality, comfort, and trigger. Superb accuracy.  Come on out and try it!

I'll probably be at the rifle lanes for the first couple hours, and will probably head home around noonish.

I don't get it man. You say you love the 10mm yet you don't have the greatest 10mm of all time, a Bren Ten, for shame. ;)

Of course, good luck finding one that worked.

Be gone you hateful spreader of wants and desires...

My 29 wants a big brother so bad it is almost shaking... Eventually I will get a 40 and then I'm really, really, no I mean really, done...

Except, just maybe, I'm gonna pick up something in 357 mag... I don't have any revolvers you know.

Nice!

I just have a lonely G20 gen4. I just put some ameriglo spartan sights on it. I really enjoy shooting this gun! Been loading it with Underwood 200gr, and it groups tight. It's my woods carry.

I see a G29 in my future.

That's why I got a Sig 45. It's from the pilot and I can't afford a Bren LOL.

No issues with it? I had a 27 as my first carry pistol and didn't like the recoil with Gold Dots, so I went with a 19 and couldn't be happier. Seems like a subcompact 10mm would be worse. Haven't shot one, so I can't compare them, but the .40 was too much in that frame size. Not too much as in I couldn't handle it, but I didn't feel that I could space followup shots adequately with the recoil.

Thanks for the info.

combatmed04, No issues what so ever! I do recommend that if you are gonna re-load or shoot full boat loads, you go to a 20lb RSA or recoil spring so you don't beat the gun up too much. with the proper grip,(which is now muscle memory) I have NO problem with recoil. Then again I shoot a 5" 460 Smith Magnum often!
