Don't take this as me saying you are 'wrong' as that is not what I am saying.  Just offering a different, general perspective.

<<snip>>

Yeah, I know about DA triggers are similar to revolvers, but Bud said his mom currently has a Kahr PM9 which is a striker-fired handgun with a pretty light and smooth (albeit long) trigger.

Good info about the finger placement on revolver triggers. I'll have Mrs. ML give that a try the next time I have my hands on a revolver.

Wow, is that .327 ammo expensive!

Thanks

I got a chuckle out of this. My first centerfire handgun was a .41 Mag. I got into reloading real fast.  :D

Picked up a couple of you guys' suggestions.

A S&W 30-1 and the LCR in .327 fed mag.

We'll be doing some comparison next week because the LCR won't be in until then.

Wow, is that .327 ammo expensive! Bought a little for training and carry, but any recommendations on what I should buy in bulk out of the options that this revolver will shoot?

Thanks

32 S & W long would definitely be the cheapest of the 4 cartridges the LCR will fire.  You should be able to find it under $20/box.
