WOW!!! I am so gonna get in trouble with this. Anybody have any idea what kind of range you could get with that?

It would be visible for a pretty good distance but I doubt the strength would last that far.

They have had ways to turn a cheap laser pointer into a burner that would start a match on YouTube. Don't have to take apart a dvd burner for that.

BTW, you can have a brand-new DVD burner for about $20.

I have an old 16x DVD burner and a 6 D-Cell Maglite... I wonder if it will work with the increased power?

Or just burn the retinas out with a 25 million candle power HID Xenon flashlight (1,100 lumens; 80 minutes at full charge; friggin car headlight bulb in it; shoulder strap included; available at your local Auto Zone; 12-volt DC auto adapter).

That is too cool. I have one question, about the movie. Did you see the look on the cat's face when he started talking? I think they might have been leading into some additional fun. That is after you have sparked all you matches, poped all the kids ballons and fried the wife's new bathroom wall paper.
