New Race Gun

Going to shoot USPSA this next year and trying to decide between Single Stack or Production (or both).

Anyone have any good recommendations for a production gun to use (in either variety listed above and for me Glock is not an option as I really don't like the ergos.

Nothing at all!! In fact, I love that gun. Just trying to keep my carry separate was my initial thought. Always a good excuse to buy another TRP, correct?

I wouldn't give my money to Useltons. You could do worse than a TRP. Nice grips, magwell straight from the factory....sounds like a solid plan.

Thanks for the feedback. That is what I was looking for and I may use it, after the first of year, as an excuse for an additional 1911.

If you don't like the Glook for Reduction I would check out the S&W M&P.

For production I tried a few and finally the CZ. I didn't believe it but feels more like 1911's I usually shoot and just worked. I have used sp-01 and 85combat.

As for 1911 well there are so many choices buy stock or have someone you like build one.

For me a limited shooter reloading every 10 got old fast I don't know if I could handle every 8 LOL but I do like the 1911 trigger.

Can't go wrong with CZ SP01's or a 75SA converted to DA/SA. Also look at the M&P 9L or the Pro. The talk on Enos is that they should be approved by early spring for production division.
