I hate my neighbors. We got into a fight once over something

other property owner would be the one most likely to take this stance.....I know I would

These two quotes are just to what I refer. Back in the day people got to know their neighbors. People got along. Nowdays people are all too quick to call the police instead of knocking on a door. All to quick to tell a neighbor to F off instead of working with them.

I am glad I have nice neighbors. Can't we all just get along?

It time for change, bro. ;)

Our neighbors are ass hats, and they come over to our property every time we pull up and want to know what we are doing. So what I am saying comes from a hostile mind.....but nevertheless, I would not take a liking to someone directing my actions on my own property. It is almost like correcting me on how I raise my family. (well mayber not, but in my mind it is).

ok...I am ready for driving directions.......

I have about quit hunting for a similar situation. A few years back I was hunting on some land that had a small 1acre field that joined it that someone else owned. The land I was hunting on pretty much circled that little field. When I got to the woods that afternoon I was running a little late, and the poeple in front of me pulled up in the field, so I decided to hunt on the other side of the land to stay away from any noise they were going to make. Got all setup to hunt, and before long it sounded like a war going on. Now, with that being said, had I gotten to the woods on time I would have gone to my usual hunting spot, and the guys that were shooting would have been shooting directly at me. I left and haven't gone hunting since just because there always seems to be something like this no matter where I go.

I do agree though that on my own property I will shoot anytime of the year because I do enjoy shooting, but I think one should at least know if they are shooting AT someone or not before they start firing, and have some courtesy if there are people hunting in the area.

+1

Many, many moons ago, my father and I were in a deerstand on a field that was probably 250 yards from the property line. All morning long, some kid was playing with a .22 rifle, apparently belt-fed. He was maybe a quarter mile away, but we couldn't see him. We just rolled our eyes at each other, each of us thinking "well, we won't see anything today." About 9:30, he sent a 20 or 30 round volley our direction, and several rounds struck the tree we were in, maybe 25 feet above our heads. Needless to say, we quickly decided to go grab some lunch. Those .22 bullets whizzing by our heads made me even more wary about hunting near/around unknown people or areas.

It was his property and it was his right to shoot all he wanted. It was not his right to hose the neighbors with lead, though.
