I am just beginning to step into the AK world.  Does anyone have experience with DDI?   I am look to spend between 600-700.   I want the best  I can  get in that price range.  Any suggestions?  Also saw that they have an DDI 12g.  Anyone have knowledge or experience with those?

DDI's are the best in that price range. Pretty much anything in that range is good to go. Only thing's I'd avoid are the IO Inc. made in USA and the current Century RAS or C39V2 guns. If you decide to get something other than the DDI, the current WASR's are great guns for the money.

I'm not a big fan of the DDI 12g's. I stick with a Saiga 12 or a VEPR 12.

Atlantic may take orders tomorrow and I also saw that AIM Surplus had a few varieties left.

So did you get the AK yet, Smokn? I got a DDI AK from AGS a couple of months ago, easy guys to deal with and good price. I've recommended them to several friends.
