This one is getting closer and closer!

Everyone owns a shotgun, but how many have actually learned to efficiently and effectively use it for defense? How many shotgun myths do you believe? "You just have to rack it and they'll run off" or "you don't really have to aim just point it and pull the trigger" or "Birdshot is just as good as buckshot".....you will see why all of these cliches are just simply wrong. We cover everything from loading,  unloading and clearing malfunctions to transitioning to handgun to shooting on the move to transitioning to slugs for distant targets and a whole lot more. Just owning a shotgun does not make you any more prepared to use it than owning a guitar makes you a skilled musician. Come on out and get the skills to run the shotgun under stress and defend your self, your home or your business with the most powerful weapon available to civilians!

This was a great class for me; not a hunter or skeet/trap guy, so other than blasting away for fun, my shotgun experience was limited.

You don't need any fancy gear either; decent sling, I worked out of pockets and repurposed fishing gear bag with adjustable shoulder strap.

Yes, this is the least gear intensive long gun class we teach. You literally can show up with a shotgun, a sling, ammo and no other gear for it. You don't need a chest rig, don't need a battle belt, don't need anything other than pockets to hold some extra shells to reload. Now if you already have a dedicated shotgun chest rig or bag you use then obviously you are welcome to use it, but it is not required.
