Going out of Business

Recommended Posts

Just found out that on July 1st Ashbrauners Loan and Pawn in Gallatin will no longer be in business and they have all of their firearms and ammo marked down to sell along with everything else. The Shooting range will also be closed to the public at that time.
Sam will remain in a separate part of the building and have the range under his control for the gunsmithing employees to be able to test fire the guns they build and repair.

Roger not running it probably had a lot to do with it. New blood isn't always good blood.

I think that had a lot to do with it, plus over the past couple years about 4 or 5 more pawn shops opened up in Gallatin making business thin out some. They said anything that does not sell will be moved to their Smithville store. Sam has taken over the entire lower section and gun range for his gunsmithing and gun building and using the range for private use only. Will not be open to the public.

I always wondered how much business the pawn shop really did anyway. I can't recall ever seeing anything in there for a reasonable price.

Took my permit class there, it was alright. Nothing really noteworthy either way.

Thank you sir, I'll have to check them out.  I do some service out that way.

Speaking of going out of business;  stopped by Grandpa''s here in Clarksville, first thing I notice are a bunch of customers,  then I walk in and 30% off signs everywhere.  Seems the owner wants to retire, problem is she gave her workers no notice.  Didn't go into the gun area as the store was closing in a few and I needed some hardware, but there may be some deals to be had.

As I am close to Smithville, what store are you talking about here and where is it?
