New friend....

Great post Caster and great pics of your new best bud! He won't take the place of the last bud since each one is different, he'll just find his place in your heart and snuggle up with him there.

I'm glad you have another buddy.  I am sure he will bring a lot of great new memories as well as allowing you to also reminisce about some of the older great memories as well.

Good for you....and him. It took the missus and I over 3 years to get over the loss of our friend of 14 years so I get what your saying. But now we have another and while he's totally different from the other he makes us laugh 100 times a day. He's the funniest and loyal damn dog we have ever seen.

Great to hear you have the opportunity to become buddies with Moose. A new dog doesn't totally fill the void of your loss, but it sure plugs as much of the void you're willing to let your new buddy fill.

Somehow, we adopted our daughters 11 month old, female pit.  She also likes chewing oak boards coincidentally.  Like the oak risers on the front entry stairs.  #%~\_>!

Good on ya'.

I'll bet the sleeping 18 hrs/day will change fairly soon.  He'll get rested up eventually.

Yeah, might well be still a bit of shock involved with the whole experience, sleeping it off.

Lost my "Moose" two and a half years ago.  Greatest dog ever.  Still waiting to find another great dog. So happy you found yours.
