My Black Rifle

For those of you that were at the last ET shoot, a little more dremel work on the feed ramps has solved my problems. I took it out yesterday and ran 2 mags through it without a FTF. Now I just have to figure out what's up with the light primer strikes and it'll be good to go. :)

BTW, I'm happier than a pig in slop. :D

Are you refferring to those found on rounds chambered, but not fired? Like just doing a function check?

If so, those are supposedly normal. It's just the inertia from the firing pin. It freaked me out the first time I encountered it, but according to other internet commandos, it's normal.

Sure wish I could find some 6.8mm snap caps.:shhh:

No, these are failure to fire primer impacts. I swapped out the hammer spring and switched firing pins out with my spare upper and between the 2 the situation has improved dramatically, although it still happens on occasion.
