Recommendation for gunsmith in Smyrna/Murfreesboro to install sight on Colt Gov 1911?

I have a friend who is wanting to have a front sight installed into their (deceased) great grandfather's military issue Colt 45.  It's obviously standard GI.  Rear sight is there, but the front is missing... just an empty notch.

Any recommendations?  Wanting to keep it close to smyrna/murfreesboro, and not a hack who will ruin their family heirloom.  Thanks!

Iv done a number of front sights on the basic 1911. I supervised the assembly and test fired the first 4600 Auto Ordnance 1911A1's back in 81-83. And your right, it can be butchered or you can have the sight fly off if not properly peened in place. If you don't find any one near by, you could always mail me the slide or ride out and watch it go on.

I believe the Greenbrier Guns & Leather gunsmith is Jeff Walle, he does good work. Only one I know of.
