I am looking for a good range bag that can easily hold the following items:

  Two+ hand guns

  6 Magazines & Mag Loader

  Safety Glasses

  Hearing Protection

  300+ rounds of ammo

Misc small items: small flashlight; screwdriver; small tube of lube; etc.

Any suggestions?  Price and dimensions would help.

Thanks

Thanks Hozzie...  that looks really nice.  Could be perfect for what I am looking for.  I have a range bag but have to carry ammo in a separate bag.

I want to get everything in one good quality bag.

I started using a Coleman cooler a few years ago and wouldn't go back to a bag ever.  It holds magazines, ammo, a tool kit and a cleaning kit along with my notebook and what ever handguns I pile in there.  It's as organized as I am.

Yep. I normally use one of these. A range bag doesn't really cut it for me...

Like everyone else I too have "The" Midway bag and it is a good bag for the money. However I have about 3 others I use also. Some are better for revolvers, some for rifles, etc.

I've been really happy with my Explorer Tactical Model R2 and the pricing is close to the Midway bag when it's on sale.

Also, I got tired of carrying the amount of guns like the guy in the pic above, but with no wheelbarrow.   So, I got a light weight foldable hand truck and some bungee cords.

Here is a pic of it in action:

If I was in the market now, I'd buy the Larue range bag.  It's the same basic design as the Midway one (and 100 others), but it's made in 'Murica.

i've been secretly hoping my Midway bag would fail so I'd have an excuse to get one, but the Midway bag still looks pretty much like the day I got it.

Just do what another well-known member here, who shall remain nameless (not me), does and use your nice Midway bag as a shooting rest.  If you don't watch that muzzle you're guaranteed a hole or two and a maybe a half blown off zipper.

Well, okay, I'll own up. :) Irony is I had some cheapo bag, somebody else shot it doing that and then damn if I didn't do the same frigging thing about a year later with a better Midway one!!

Anyway, I've had a Midway "Competition Range Bag System" model for a good while now, it's really aces, but has one drawback -- before I know it I've got like 75 freakin pounds in there!

(And though I still use it as a rest now and then, I'm much more careful that the muzzle clears all of it. :)

The Range bag at Academy is very similar to the Midway bag.  Used mine going on 4 years now.  Also like the NRA back pack.

I seem to remember them offering the NRA backpack as a gift for going lifetime or benefactor awhile back.  I almost went with it but I stayed with the lifetime.  I do notice they are at the NRA store but more expensive than the Midway one.  I wonder if they are both made at the same place??

I ATM don't need to transport my weapons collectively to a range, I just put them in my truck in their own case and park right at the firing line.  But on the occasions when I have gone to public ranges, I take my Pelican wheeled case with all my range equipment in it, it works well for me.

I have the large larue bag and couldn't be happier with it.  built like a tank and made in 'merica.  I used to carry 2 bags....one for guns and gear and the other for ammo.  this handles both and I can carry 6 pistols in the side pockets if I need to.  the website says 4 but the way the side pockets are set up there is room for 3 on each side.

Thanks to all those that recommended the LA Police Gear GPS.  I picked one up a couple of weeks ago, and I really like it for pistol range sessions.
