I agree that we shouldnt jump down your throat and call you an outright liar about your claimed military service.

I hope you can see where the BS meter gets pegged pretty fast when someone on the web throws these sort of things out.

Tell you what, fax me your supporting docs, and that should settle things pretty fast.

There is a difference between a Scout Sniper and Recon Sniper Id be plenty happy to explain that if you want. I left the Marines joined the army due to the schools I already had finished I wanted to try out for SF, SF isnt as hard to make as it seems there are many positions. I didnt say I was out all over the world kickin ass and takin names I just listed things I did to learn weapons. This all started because someone wanted to kick a guy trying to offer his services to some guys local in the nuts.

So, you confirm that you started the Army as a "SF Sniper" which during that time period, the ONLY way to achieve that title would be successful completion of SOTIC.

You spent 4 years as an 18B? (like I requested in my PM) please send me your Group, year date, ODA, and finally name.

Job Description: The riflemen employ the M16A2 service rifle, the M203 grenade launcher and the squad automatic weapon (SAW). Riflemen are the primary scouts, assault troops, and close combat forces available to the MAGTF. They are the foundation of the Marine infantry organization, and as such are the nucleus of the fire team in the rifle squad, the scout team in the LAR squad, scout snipers in the infantry battalion, and reconnaissance or assault team in the reconnaissance units. Noncommissioned officers are assigned as fire team leaders, scout team leaders, rifle squad leaders, or rifle platoon guides.

Job Requirements:

(1) Must possess a GT score of 80 or higher.

(2) Complete the Marine Rifleman Course at the! School of Infantry, East or West.

Sorry for the spelling Error I was typing fast again. Hero I will fax that to you sir and give you all my info and you make those calls to confirm it. Wow Im impressed . I will also give you a few names and all you can call that are still in the units both Army and Marines. That way if your "guy" cant or has any trouble. what i was saying about Marines is that there MOS is 0311 yes women in boot camp and MCT are training to first be a 0311 but after they go though the schools they go to there MOS school to become what ever they joined for but all marines are infantry first or so they tell us that or told us that.

I finished all mine a couple hours ago. My daughter decided she could find a few minutes in her busy vacation schedule to come home for Christmas morning gift openeing, then it's back out the door to visit more family. Heck, I guess I could use the break.
