How would you dispose of old gasoline?

I have a generator with a tank full of gas (containing ethanol), and I'd like to dispose of it. What would be a good method for this?

Pour it in my sons car, it will be gone in no time!  Seriously I would just add a little to the car and or lawn mower tank until it's gone.  I'm sure others will disagree, but we used this method after hurricane season every year in Florida.  Never had any damage from it.

I may add it to someone else's stuff, but not mine. I've spent way too much time cleaning carburetors, petcocks, and the like to try it.

Whoever mandated ethanol added to gasoline should be submerged in a vat of it until bubbles quit coming to the top.

Weed killer for the fence line.

I've added smaller amounts to the car to get rid of it. Adding a half gallon or so to 20gal of fuel in a vehicle will plenty dilute to not give engine problems.

How old is the gas? Did it have a stabilizer in it at the time of storage?

If you are mainly worried about the ethanol and not really the age, you can get additives to "neutralize" the ethanol.

Spell check :/

The tree huggers have ruined gas and our method of manufacturing ethanol actually uses more energy then it saves. Idiots!

ive have more bad gas in the last few years than my 40 + before.

We are without a doubt in an idiocracy!

Not to mention the spill proof spouts that cause you to spill more. Idiots!

i used to burn the bad stuff in my old truck, it didn't bother it at all. Since I've gotten rid of it now I just let it evaporate.

I hate those things. I've learned how to "break" them just right, though ;) They can be made to work like any other spout, but then there's no cap...

Add some higher octane fuel to it and use it.......I always add Stabil fuel stabilizer to any fuel containing ethanol and never had a problem. Had some 3 years old
