Email notification issue

Hopefully this hasn't been covered already. I looked, but couldn't find anything.

Since the update, I'm no longer receiving email notifications in real time. Instead, I'm getting several emails once a day. I think my setting are correct.

There is a new fix for this but it is in a new version of the software that was just released yesterday and then immediately followed by a second release to fix issues.  I'm holding off on doing the upgrade until I make sure they haven't really screwed more stuff up with it.

Where do we stand now?

I can tell you definitively that emails are being sent out and received.  Are you 100% certain you are using your @hotmail.com address?

Looking at our logs, this is a Hotmail issue.  Hotmail is throttling how many emails we can send to any Hotmail addresses per hour.  If email is important to you, I'd switch to Gmail.

I had hotmail with the same problem.  Switched to Gmail when I had this issue and it was fixed. I do get some coming across in my "Promotions" tab for some reason.

Thanks for the input guys. I really don't want to change my em address at this time, so I canceled all but one topic I follow and set it up for one email per day with all the new content. If that works I will gradually increase the number of topics I follow and see what happens.

David, what is the current limit?

You could set up a new Gmail account to receive the TGO notifications and then have it forward to your hotmail

:shake:  Fixed it!  Don't ask...

Got to ask. :)  What did you do?  Others may be suffering the same problem.
