Scales?

Sure? Whatever the hell they are called. They just look a little cheap to me unlike all the other TGO knives so far.

I use my TGO Protech (can't remember which model) at work daily and the texture is just fine. I get what you're saying I'm just not enamored with the look. I do like the shape of the blade though.

If we're being honest here, I like the utilitarian quality of these scales and had my fingers crossed that this model may come in at a price that I'm comfortable enough with for daily carry. :x:

I use my knife at work many times a day and am a little intimidated by making a $250 knife my "work knife".

Give into temptation. I made my first TGO knife, the rock eye, my work knife and never regretted it. Sharp, sturdy and after who knows how many pallets worth of cutting tape, cardboard and of course, the dreaded pallet wrap, (amongst pretty much anything else I came across that needed cuttin, the protech is still in great shape.

I did 'loose' it for several months in a recliner at my parents house, but that was my own fault for putting it loose in my pocket and not using the clip before settling into a nice nap and not checking for it when I got up. Those recliners are notorious for stealing stuff from pockets too. If I'm at my folks place and need a lighter, odds are very strong there will be one from my last visit just waiting for me.

I'm in, had to miss at least one (two?) of the last few so I really need my blade fix.

I need to check my recliner.  There may not be enough for a Protech but it'll probably get a box of ammo.

So is it left hand friendly and how much is it?

There will only be one blade option on these, we need to decide if we want Stonewashed, Or DLC we can not offer both on these I promised Dave I would do one or the other

They are Leftly friendly, once I post the official thread I will post the price,

for those of you who have not handled one of these knifes with this texture, I absolutely assure you this is the best grip you will ever have on a pocket knife it is awesome.

And for those who think that this makes it look Cheap, you need to see one in person to appreciate it, what goes into engraving our TGO three Bullet hole design into the scale of this knife, is anything but cheap and has several non TGO members loving the look

Would the two tone be an option? Not sure of the grind so may not be. Just haven't seen any of the these with that blade style yet (could have missed it) and thought it might make it extra special.

Told the wife I may sit out the next run. Oops, I'm in!

There's no point in me attempting to tell my wife something like that.  She would then start questioning me about classified information on my server.
