How do you remove the foregrip if it's all wood? Would you have to remove the gas block?

The one pictured is a 2 piece set, just like the original A1 handguards.

On a free float system, there are several methods to make this work, and thats one of the things we are trying to perfect

I ran across an AR with wood furniture at a little army surplus store outside of Ft. Campbell maybe 16 or 17 years ago. Obviously it made an impression as I've never forgotten it.

I thought the guy was crazy cause he wanted $750 for it.

'Course he had an FN FNC paratrooper folding stock pre-ban for $750. That's what I really wanted. Oh, if only I had had money.
