Where can I find???

I've got several Win mod 67's that I have collected over the years. They have been safe queens for many years. I've decided to get rid of them. They are a cute  single shot 22 that is great for kids to start shooting with, BUT. I discovered that over the years the stocks have a split in them. Is this something that is repairable or does it need to be replaced? I'm guessing that they are only worth, maybe, $200 each so needless to say I don't want to put a lot more money in them. Anybody got any ideas??

Depending on how bad the crack is, you can usually fix with just a good quality wood glue and a clamp.

Model 67 was my first real gun after BB and Pellet, my Dad gave it to me, not sure if it was just one of his extra guns or he bought it specifically to give to me. Was used and worked well, shot a lot of rats at the dump with it. Still have it in the safe. I hadn't shoot it for years and dug it out about 4 years ago. The firing pin/spring assembly was gummed up but a little cleaning and I had it` shooting again, brought back lots of memories. Cleaned and put it back in the safe again till next time.

I would get this Bob Smith's thin super glue.  http://www.amazon.com/Bob-Smith-Insta-Cure-Super-Thin/dp/B001NI4JWI

Carefully wedge the split open if possible then,  let this glue run through the crack.  This glue will migrate quite a ways.  Then clamp or wrap rubber tubing around the stock where the split is. If the split isn't through the wood I might not do anything, but this glue will run through and probably provide some bonding.  I've used this glue to build up a couple of rotten spots in a stock too. Once glued I would leave it over nite. Then some light sanding if there is overrun then maybe some Tru Oil wiped on or simply glue it.  Or you could sell it and let the buyer fix it. 67's seem to sell quickly.
