I bought one of these when I was trying to find auto knives under $100. The Kershaw launch is pretty good.

No advantage, just differences in tastes, for me it is the fact that since I was 7 and had a switchblade comb I have always been fascinated by them

This certainly does not mean it is better than a quality folder, but for $100 I think you will be hard pressed to find a better knife than this one

After going back to read your entire original post, I think my post could have been seen as thread crapping, which definitely wasn't my intention. And I love those Kershaws. Willis, I'll hit you up for one eventually. :-)

Right now I fall back to a Kershaw Blur when I don't wanna ness up the ProTechs. This will be a nice step up from the Blur, while not making me feel guilty for raping a ProTech. ;-)

I looked at the Launch a couple of times but never purchased. I have several Kershaw knives, a Blur is one of my EDCs.

If I get another auto any time soon though I think I want to find someone with the TGO TR4 for sale.

I've had 3 Kershaw knives (kept one, gave the other to bladeless friends). For the money they are very good knives, but this Launch series looks like they really stepped up their game!!
