New to Tennessee and TGO

I'm settling into my new digs just south of Knoxville. I'm not city-oriented by nature (born and raised in the backwoods of eastern Kentucky), but I have a meager 26 acre tract of mountain that affords me the opportunity to be the hermit I am by nature, but to also be close to the amenities of town when the situation calls for it.

I shoot a lot and own nearly 40 guns, some of which my lady has asked me to part with. That's actually how I found this site.

I monitored some threads on the forum here for a while, and quickly realized this was the place for me. I joined almost a week ago and haven't posted yet, but I'm not very vocal. So it goes.

I gained a quick appreciation for a lot of the knowledge and discourse you have amongst your ranks. You all have created a valuable community here - one I am proud to now be a member of. Keep up the good work and
I'm sure I'll be asking many questions in the future, so thanks in advance for your time and help.

Feel free to let your lady friend know that reducing the number of firearms owned is strictly prohibited in the State of TN.  You can sell guns, but MUST replace any guns sold in fairly short order.

 

Adding at least three guns to a collection per year is strongly recommended.
