That would be my guess too. The TVA built several dams and power stations throughout the state that look very similar, but that one does seem like the one in Shelbyville to me.

#5 is between Gainsboro and Chestnut Mound on highway 53.

#10 may be off of Hwy 68 headed east out of Tellico Plains. Looks familiar but I'm not positive. Also reminds me of something I've seen around Hwy 315 around Reliance.

#5 looks like it was a horizontal quarry.

#8 is very interesting. I have no idea what/where it is though.

 

Does anyone know what #2 is? Looks like some kind of sluice, but I don't know why it would be that tall. It's on the edge of a river or lake, so maybe that helps.

#1 is not Shelbyville. Drove by today. Building is wrong windo count and different rock formation

#5 looks very similar to the mine entrances you can see from I-40 at Crab Orchard, just East of Crossville. They cut stones out of the side of the mountain there that are used for siding and patio stones.

 

#4, I swear I have been there, but can't recall where that is. For some reason, I want to say it is in Pickett State Park, just West of TN side of the Big South Fork.

I believe it to be a limestone mine. It has long been abandoned.

#1 is the old Walter Hill Dam power station just north of Murfreesboro on the Stones River.
 
 
If you're looking for cool places to visit/hike in Tennessee, here's another one, one of my favorites in the fall--  I'm sure that at least a couple of folks on here know where this is...

Nope. Both of these pictures are definitely in Tennessee. ;)

Twin Arches in Big South Fork is my first guess. Natural Bridge near Sewanee is my second, but I don't think that's it.

 

I don't know where the bridge is located, but that's a great photo.
