IDPA "old rules" BUG Match This Saturday April 23'rd at Green River gun club of Bowling Green KY.

Green River Gun Club (GRGC) of Bowling Green Ky. will be hosting an "Old Rules" IDPA BUG match ( 5 round strings, no reloads on the clock, no drawing from the holster, etc.) this Saturday (04/23/2016).

Six stages, 50 round minimum. Set-up at 8:00 am, shooting at 9:30.

 

These matches are great for introducing new shooters to competitive shooting, or give old (experienced) shooters to get their "significant other", neighbors and/or friends out to the range.

They also make a great  opportunity to shoot that carry gun that seldom gets shot.

You don't have to shoot a BUG. You can shoot any safe handgun. You will be scored in whatever division handgun you bring.

New shooters only need a gun, 2 magazines (one will work), 50 rounds of ammo, and a gun rug, box, holster, bag, etc. to keep the gun in when you are not shooting

Also, GRGC is a cold range. Make sure when you arrive, that all firearms are unloaded until the Safety Officer gives you the "LOAD" command.
