I have had one for about 3 months, good gun. Down side is it is a full size gun but the up side is very accurate.

There seems to be a slight problems with mags when people disassemble them and they do not want to feed the last round afterwards.

Reliable, accurate and for me handles recoil very well. Heavy when fully loaded and harder to conceal than compacts.

I have an XD40 Service pistol and I like it a lot. It is currently my primary carry gun. I'm seriously considering getting an XDM in 9MM. With 19 rounds of well chosen ammo on board and the skill and will to use it effectively if required, one would be pretty well armed.

i have had one now for a few months and it's a great gun. definately not a carry gun unless you just like big and heavy, but it's a good shooter. I am considering the 9mm conversion barrel now to make it a little cheaper to shoot.

The XDm 9mm weighs 32 ounces empty, What does it weigh full, who carries an empty gun!! The regular XD 40 4" weighs 29 ounces empty, the 9mm 4" is 28 ounces.

I like the 20 capacity. I would rather have a little extra gun weight than a spare mag. I already carry to much crap as it is. And having 39 rounds at my disposal in my car, or on me (extra mag) well wow.

I just bought an XD , but in .45acp.... Got the service model 4" and love it....

13+1 rounds in a .45acp, and very accurate.. If the .40S&W XDM is anywhere simular, It's definately a keeper.

:tough:
