I have one of these and they really are magnificent rifles. However, that price is at least $500 too high. Although it is NIB, that is the standard grade model.  I'm thinking a more realistic price would be $1500.

Just to show the ups and downs...My 34th Edition rates the 1/7000, 22 inch at 1095. So it actually dropped a bit on the 35th ED. Of course this is all subjective.

 

Worth depends on what someone is willing to pay for it.

The 37th has it at 2200. Crazy how something can change so much that fast.

 

Not really. Look at S&W revolvers. 

 

Also BB trends to the high side IMHO
